Craft Workshop Sunday 21st November 2021: Get started with DSLR creative photography (Beginner Level)
Taught outside, or indoors with outdoor practice if the weather is less favourable.
Taught by a professional photographer with almost 20 years of working experience, this is a practical workshop day packed with information about starting and improving your DSLR photography but designed to cut through the jargon to show you exactly what you need to do to be able to start taking the creative photos which you envisage.
Time: Arrive for 10am start - workshop will finish for 4pm.

We will be looking at the technical aspects of the DSLR camera, such as settings and functions but will also be looking at how we can be creative with our photographic skills.
We will be be discussing the fundamentals of composition, depth of field, aperture, shutter speed and ISO features but, perhaps more importantly, we will be breaking the day up with regular practical photography sessions which we will then review.
Maximum number on workshop is 4 people. This class is suitable for adults only please.
We will look at the fundamentals of photography in detail - light, composition and subject - and will also touch on a wide range of topics such as using natural light, lenses and other equipment, landscape photography, action photos, close up and macro images, black and white photography, storing and organisation of image files... and more!
The workshop tuition, advice and guidance given by Sally on the day form the basis for this workshop.
You will need to bring your camera, lens(es), memory card, fully charged battery and either a spare battery or your charger, sturdy bag to carry your camera kit, outdoor wear appropriate for the weather, plus your lunch and snacks with a flask for hot drinks or a water bottle.
