Group Starts Friday 1st October 2021

Live teaching days/times for October starters are:
* Monday evenings (7pm) with a repeat on Wednesday afternoon (1pm) - attend either or both!
* The live Q&A weekly call will be varied according to the needs of the group - likely a mix of weekdays and weekends so as many people can attend live as possible (and there will always be replays if you miss a live module or Q&A).

Course Includes:
  • 8 Weekly LIVE group teaching topics PLUS weekly Q&A Calls
  • 6 topic modules PLUS final 2 weeks of live ‘hot-seat’ coaching for individual questions (all with video replays available)
  • Weekly LIVE coaching Q&A video call to address your specific questions
  • Start monthly together as a group where we can support, encourage, and grow together
  • Plus Daily Support within our Facebook Group for feedback on your ideas, content plans, tech questions, practice opportunities, business and sales fundamentals, and more!

Topic Modules:
  • Week 1 - Your Idea: What to teach? Determining where your passion meets your skill
  • Week 2 - Your Content: Designing a great Workshop or Course and how to deliver it effectively
  • Week 3 - Your Tech: Teaching online, easily, and without needing a large budget!
  • Week 4 - Your Plan: Practical business set-up (so you can concentrate on your workshops and the other aspects of your life)
  • Week 5 - Your Sales: Filling workshops and courses, and bringing in the income
  • Week 6 - Your Future: Creating more for your students, and growing your business
  • Weeks 7 & 8 - Your Questions: final 2 weeks of live ‘hot-seat’ coaching for individual questions PLUS the weekly Q&A sessions

By the end of the 8 weeks, you will have had opportunity to learn what to put in place and exactly how to do it, based using the experience which I have in running a successful creative photography business, full-time, for the last 19 years plus the lessons I have learned through transitioning to teaching art and crafts workshops both in-person and online for the last 3+ years.

This is a practical online course with bucket-loads of support available plus lots of additional 'finishing touches' such as PDF downloads of workbooks, feedback on ideas, access to practical business templates (and how to use them), opportunities for practice sessions, and the support of other people who understand your tech worries, know the business of teaching creative subjects and the challenges which that presents when teaching online, and can support you in setting up a viable way to earn a part-time or full-time income which you can balance as you wish with your own artistic and creative development as well as around your other commitments in life.

Don't want to teach online but do want to earn an income through holding workshops & courses? Let me know as I have an option for you too!
.

To get the most from this course, you will need the following:

* Computer, laptop, or tablet - a mobile phone would be ok but the screen will be a bit small for some of the teaching sessions (ideal for popping onto the live Q&A sessions though!)
* Good internet connection
* Zoom app - teaching modules and Q&As will be a group zoom call. You'll the opportunity to learn from everyone else's questions and to interact with others on the course
* Privacy - it is not required that you have your video turned on, or that you speak if you would rather not do so in the recordings. You can turn your video and microphone off when entering the call and you can still ask questions by typing in the chat so that I can answer any queries which you have.
* Access to the Facebook group for workshop attendees only (If you are not a Facebook user, you could consider setting up a profile just for the course duration as this is where the support will be - we are looking at viable alternatives for the future).
* Ideas! (but don't worry if you don't have any yet) And a passion for creativity through craft or art which you would like to share with others.
